Who Am I ?
Hello! I am Moha and I am the local guide and owner of Merzouga Birding. I was born and grew up right here in the small village of Merzouga in the southeast of Morocco. When I was a child, I grew up with the desert animals and birds, and they made me love these small creatures very much. I started to ask myself: “How do these birds live here where the water and food are so little?” I began to look for the answers myself.
I spent a long time watching and learning about the birds’ lives and where they like to be. Because of this, I have a big knowledge about the desert birds now. I knew this passion for birds was something I needed to share, so I decided to become a birding guide! Now, I organize simple birding trips around Merzouga. I know all the different kinds of desert birds and all the best places to find them.
I am very happy to share everything I know and my love for these birds with you. I organize these tours to show people the amazing birds that call Merzouga their home. If you join me, I promise you a friendly, real, and unforgettable day in my beautiful desert
